Street Fighter (2026) is one of the year’s most entertaining movies, delivering explosive action, impressive fight choreography, vibrant ’90s nostalgia, and countless nods to the iconic video game without pretending to be a serious cinematic masterpiece. Despite its simplistic plot, inconsistent humor, and underused characters, a strong cast, striking visuals, and faithfulness to the source…
“Street Fighter” (1994) follows Colonel Guile as he tries to free hostages and bring down General M. Bison in the fictional Shadaloo City… without a single tournament (which has always been the heart of the SF games). The plot is chaotic, the dialogue is painfully clichéd, and the production was such a mess that it’s…
Season two of Star Wars: Visions hands the universe over to nine studios from nine different countries – Spain, Ireland, Chile, the UK, South Korea, France, India, Japan and South Africa – and every episode carries the DNA of its own culture. The result is a visually varied multivitamin juice: oil-painted animation, stop-motion, hand-drawn work…
Star Wars Tales “I am no Jedi.” – Ahsoka Tano “Star Wars Tales” is a charming animated anthology of short stories set within the existing Star Wars universe, following important but often less explored characters such as Ahsoka Tano, Count Dooku, Morgan Elsbeth, Barriss Offee, Asajj Ventress, and Cad Bane. Created under the guidance of…

Gintama “You yourself have to change first, or nothing will change for you!” – Gintoki You know however much I love (anime) series, when you’re older, you simply don’t have that much free time to watch epics of several hundred episodes. So far I managed to pull this off with “Naruto + Naruto Shippuden,”…
Castlevania “Vampires. You like to play with your food” – Hector Vampires are always an interesting idea in any media form, starting from books and comics, to films and (anime) series. A bit of fear, a bit of creepiness, a bit of horror, lots of blood and there’s fun… for lovers of such genre,…
Hellsing Ultimate “The Bird of the Hermes is my name, eating my wings to make me tame” – Alucard Let me tell you right away at the beginning, I think there’s no need to watch original “Hellsing,” because “Hellsing Ultimate” will cover original too, and moreover is more faithful adaptation of eponymous manga compared…
Scott Pilgrim Takes Off “Let’s party!” – Lucas Lee Thirteen years have passed since the quirky “Scott Pilgrim vs the World” appeared in cinemas and (in principle) delighted a large number of viewers, and many still call it a small masterpiece. And then someone got the idea to make an animated version of Scott…
Yu Yu Hakusho There are some series that are simply good because they’re good, but you couldn’t explain why they’re good… in fact, you probably would know, but you simply don’t see the need. They don’t have to be classics (but most often they are), but you simply shrug and say they have “that” something.”…
