The Mummy Rick: Well if it ain’t my little buddy Beni. I think I’ll kill you. Beni: Think of my children. Rick: You don’t have any children. Beni: … … … Someday I might… The nineties gifted us many film classics that enchanted both film critics and audiences. Some had deep, emotional and philosophical…
Storm Front (The Dresden Files #1) “My name is Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden. Conjure by it at your own risk. I’m a wizard. I work out of an office in midtown Chicago. As far as I know, I’m the only professional wizard in the country. You can find me in the yellow pages under ‘Wizards’….
Wednesday “Wednesday’s child is full of woe…” – from the lullaby “Monday’s Child” Although I saw that the series “Wednesday” received good ratings (both from audiences and critics), I wasn’t in any rush to watch it. The Witcher (Season 2) “Hmmm…” – Geralt In mid-December last year (I could have just written “a few weeks ago,” right?), Netflix “dropped” the second season with new adventures of our buff, white-haired slayer of creatures from Slavic mythology. 😀 As you know, although I’m familiar with both the literary source material (as well…
There are series and films you didn’t even know you wanted to watch and would have loved to see them even be made… until the moment they appear, and then you watch them with pleasure and say “how didn’t they think to do this earlier.” And so brilliant anthology series like “Love, Death and…
“The Everyday Hero Manifesto” is Robin Sharma’s 13th book. Someone might say the number 13 is unlucky, but for me number 13 has always had good meaning (maybe because I myself was born on February 13… or maybe because I’m a bit silly)… and as far as I’m concerned, “The Everyday Hero Manifesto” hit…
